A study permit is a document issued by Canadian immigration authorities that grants the permission for foreign students to study in Canada. It is impossible for International students to study in Canada without getting a valid study permit. Apart from this, students who get a study permit can enroll in Designated Learning Institutions. A Designated Learning Institution (DLI) is an educational institution that has the approval from a provincial or territorial government to host international students.
You may be qualified to work part-time or full-time if you are currently enrolled in full-time study at a Canadian educational institution. Holders of a study permit are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week or full-time during a designated break. As a Canadian study permit holder, you do not need to apply for a separate work permit to work part-time. However, you must declare that you are authorised to work in Canada on your study permit. You can request to have your study permit changed if you are eligible to work.

Selection and admission are two different stages that must be completed before an application for immigration to Quebec can be authorised. Admission is handled at the federal level, whereas selection is handled at the provincial level. To immigrate to Quebec, an applicant must meet both the selection and admission standards.
This is the application process for skilled employees who desire to live in Quebec and become permanent citizens of Canada. Quebec and the Canadian government have a special immigration arrangement. The province has its own set of criteria for selecting immigrants who will fit in nicely.
You must apply in two steps to immigrate to Canada as a Quebec-selected skilled worker:
Request a Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec [CSQ]) from the Quebec government. The Province of Quebec will evaluate you based on its own set of rules. The certificate verifies that you have been approved as an immigrant by the Province of Quebec.
